This module provides information about common terminology and how to communicate in the natural gas industry. You will use some fun tools to learn and remember terms like roughneck, spudding, and payzone (no it’s not where you get your paycheque). This will make talking with employers and others in the industry a little easier.
When you complete this module, you will be able to:

1. Recognize terminology specific to the oil and gas industry.
2. Understand what effective communication is.
3. Use basic effective listening and speaking skills when communicating with employers and working on job sites in the natural gas industry.
