The proposed LNG facilities are planned for locations along the northwest coast and the south coastal areas of British Columbia. In 2020 there were plans announced to further expand the existing FortisBC Tilbury LNG facility in Delta. Notably, the proposed projects are so significant that they represent the largest private sector investment proposals in the Province’s history.2 Table 1 shows the proposed LNG projects in British Columbia.
